With less then one week to go until Leicester Restaurant Week returns to the city for a third year, we are thrilled to announce the venues that have signed up so far and the mouth-watering offers they are putting on the table.

Taking place from Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd October, Leicester Restaurant Week will be, once again, shining a spotlight on some of the best restaurants in the city. It will give participating eateries the chance to showcase a specially selected, limited-edition menu, or to get creative and offer something new and exclusive to customers – for one week only.

Plus, for the first time, Restaurant Week will coincide with some monstrous goings on in the city centre, as the Leicester Monsters trail launches in the same week. Keep an eye out for the huge, illuminated beasts popping up atop some of Leicester’s city centre landmarks!

Leicester Restaurant Week 2023 is already set to be bigger and better than last year, with 40+ venues confirmed to be taking part already, offering almost 60 deals for discerning diners in the city – and more to come!

Here are just some of the tasty deals and venues already confirmed:

Offers start from as little as £5, including coffee and cake at Merchant of Venice or Esquires Coffee House. Savoury-lovers can enjoy a samosa, a bar snack and drink from Two Tailed Lion for £7, too. This year sees several new additions to Leicester’s food scene, including Arts Greek Cuisine, Sixes Social Cricket, Cocco & Delilah, and My Delhi – the latest restaurant to open on Belvoir Street.

If you find it hard to choose what to eat, head over to Chutney Ivy for a taste of their menu, with multiple starters and mains served. Meanwhile, there are 2 and 3 course menus available from Black Iron Social, Bistrot Pierre, Giggling Squid, Kayal, Herb, Knight & Garter, Las Iguanas, Middletons Steakhouse & Grill, Queen of Bradgate, Sonrisa, The Frame, The Globe and Wygston’s House.

For those who prefer a day-time feast over dinner, offers from Audrey, Bodega Cantina, Desi Street Food, Dough WHAT, Grand Union, Rutland & Derby, Oh My Pizza, and Slim Chickens include taster plates and lunch classics to enjoy, starting from £10.

Leicester Restaurant Week also coincides with half-term in the city and there are some great offers for families to take advantage of, including Crafty’s kids’ meal for just £5; a spooky, Halloween-themed Afternoon Tea at Holiday Inn; a special “Peter & Family” deal at Peter Pizzeria and it’s just £15 for kids to take part in the cricket, food and drink offer at Sixes Social Cricket. There really is something for everyone’s tastes and pockets.

Elahi Shah Amin, Director at My Delhi Indian Streetery, commented: “We’re delighted to be taking part in Leicester Restaurant Week and look forward to welcoming new customers to experience the culinary journey of My Delhi. Our Leicester Restaurant Week offer allows you to enjoy a mix of both our street plates and roadside curries, each offering an authentic flavour of the vibrant streets of Delhi, with both daytime and evening deals. As a new member of the Leicester restaurant community, we can’t wait to get fully involved.”

BID Leicester Director, Simon Jenner, added: “Our aim with Leicester Restaurant Week is to showcase as many of our fantastic eateries as possible. It’s great to see so many fantastic offers coming through from such a wide variety of restaurants in the city.

“The event will give locals and visitors alike the opportunity to try somewhere new, or an excuse to head back to their favourite dining spot to make the most of the one-week-only delicious deals on offer.”

Leicester Restaurant Week 2023 will be running throughout the city from Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd October 2023. There are 40+ participating venues and almost 60 offers already online, with more to be added in the coming weeks!
