Leicester’s Bring The Paint street art festival returns in May 2024, promising to once again transform the city’s streets with stunning public art.

From May 20th to 26th, witness the creative journey of internationally acclaimed street artists as they bring fresh locations to life. With over thirty murals, exhibitions, workshops, live music, and family-friendly activities, this year’s festival is set to be the most ambitious yet.

Bring The Paint 2019

Since its inception in 2017, Bring The Paint has reshaped Leicester’s visual landscape, creating one of the world’s largest free open-air galleries. This year, artists from around the globe, including Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy, and more, will converge to continue the city’s transformation.

Artistic Director of Bring The Paint, Izzy Peacock said:  “We are incredibly excited to stage Bring The Paint for the fourth time in Leicester. Our world-class line-up speaks for itself, and we are proud to be working with such an incredible selection of artists. The festival is set to be one of the biggest street art events in the UK this year.” 

Sponsored by Arts Council England, BID Leicester, Leicester City Council, and others, this year’s festival celebrates Leicester’s diverse identity and fosters collaboration among artists worldwide. Join us as we reimagine our vibrant destination and witness spectacular works firsthand.
